Question on upgrading Acid Theme to current

Hello -

I have a question on upgrading the Acid Theme to the current version of 2.0.22. By the way, I absolutely love the theme! You have done an excellent job creating it and I applaud your work. Also, many thanks for making it available to all of us.

My question is regarding all the files that need to be uploaded to the phpBB directory. I noticed that many are .tpl files. Our forum has had a few mods installed that edited different files (many were .tpl files) to customize the forum, reflecting custom links or mods that we have added. If we do the upgrade will these files overwrite the changes that we've made, where we need to re-do these mods and links? Or, can you tell me what all the upgrade includes?
